RESPITE CARE
Seniors Service by H2H Caregivers

Respite Care

Our caregivers can offer temporary relief to family members who are caring for a loved one.

Respite care is a service designed to provide temporary relief to caregivers who are responsible for individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or other special needs. These services can be provided in various settings, including in-home care, adult day care centers, and residential facilities.

For non-medical in-home caregivers, respite care services typically involve a trained care provider coming to the home to offer temporary relief from caregiving responsibilities. Our respite caregiver can assist with a range of activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting. They can also assist with instrumental activities of daily living like meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.

The duration of respite care services can vary depending on the needs of the caregiver and the individual receiving care. It can range from a few hours to several days or weeks.

Elderly and Seniors Service

Respite care services can be scheduled on a regular basis, such as weekly or monthly, or arranged as needed, such as during a family emergency or vacation.

Respite care services provide benefits to both the caregiver and the individual receiving care. The individual receiving care can benefit from social interaction and new experiences provided by the respite caregiver, which can help reduce isolation and improve their overall well-being.
